Nissan Rogue blower cuts out on high speed and the connector is warm

A 2015 Rogue blower works at low speed but stops after several minutes on high. Command remains at 100%, power is present and the ground side is controlled. The blower connector becomes warm and voltage at the motor drops by 2.4 V just before it stops.
Should the blower motor and control module both be replaced, or can current and terminal drop separate them?
Measure blower current from cold through the failure and voltage drop across each connector terminal and the control module. Excess motor current can overheat a good terminal, while normal current with a large drop at one interface identifies contact resistance. Inspect the motor for debris and bearing drag, and compare the current ramp with specification.
Replace only the components supported by the measurements, but renew any heat-damaged connector because cleaning a relaxed terminal will not restore clamping force.
Motor current remained within specification, but the power terminal alone dropped 2.1 V and had lost tension. Installing the approved connector repair restored full voltage. The blower ran on high for 30 minutes with no heat rise or cutoff.
