Our commitment
OBD2SCAN aims to make its automotive articles, search, account features, and Community participation accessible to people with disabilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical target for new and revised interfaces. This is an ongoing effort, not a claim that every page currently conforms in every respect.
What we work on
- Clear headings, landmarks, labels, and meaningful link text.
- Keyboard access and visible focus for navigation, dialogs, forms, and controls.
- Readable contrast, scalable text, responsive layouts, and understandable control names and states.
- Alternative text or nearby explanation for editorial images that convey information.
- Priority fixes for barriers affecting sign-in, search, reading, contact, privacy requests, and Community participation.
Known limitations
Older articles, third-party embeds, complex diagrams, PDFs, and user-submitted content may have incomplete descriptions or structure. Some interactive features may need additional keyboard or screen-reader testing. We address identified barriers based on their impact and feasibility.

We will review the report and, when feasible, provide the information in another usable format or identify an available path while the issue is investigated.
